To be eligible for the United India Insurance AO Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet specific educational requirements based on the discipline they are applying for:

• Generalist:
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
• Actuary:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or any other quantitative discipline.
• Civil Engineering:
  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Finance:
  • Chartered Accountant, MBA in Finance, Cost Accountant, M.Com, or B.Com.
• Law:
  • Degree in Law from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Mechanical & Electrical Engineering:
  • B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Specialist Disciplines:
  • Various qualifications are required depending on the specific field such as Risk Management, Data Analytics, etc., typically requiring a relevant engineering or postgraduate degree with similar percentage criteria.

2. Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 to 30 years old as of the specified cutoff date (October 1, 2024). This means:

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 30 years

There are provisions for age relaxation for certain categories:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
• Ex-servicemen: Up to 5 years
• Widows/Divorced women: Up to 9 years
